Having been invited to participate in the Mansfield Chad Enterprise Awards for 2009, Purpose Media have achieved ‘Highly Commended’ in the New Business of the year 2009, sponsored by Mansfield District Council. This category was for businesses in the Mansfield area that had been established within the last 18 months and operate from a supportive environment, including managed work space, incubation or innovation centre within Mansfield.
Purpose Media eventually finished in second place behind The Treet House after being placed amongst the finalists for this award. The original field consisted of some 15 entrants in this category.
The entrants were required to submit documentation to demonstrate, through their financial performance, a thorough understanding of their ‘unique selling point’ and how this has been maximised within their markets. The finalists then had to demonstrate the positive impact of the business support received by the organisation, in a presentation given to a panel of local business leaders who were judging the competition.
