What’s it all about?

The interactive learning lunch will help you discover how easy it is to utilise digital media in your business. We’ll be demonstrating what goes into filming, editing and uploading a video that’s ready to be shared online.

Businesses are inundated with companies telling them why it’s important to adapt to video and other digital content, but we’ll show you exactly how it can be achieved.

Katrina added: “Great video doesn’t have to be complicated, so we’ve teamed up with the Chamber and Shake Social to show Enterprising Women how they can make something simple, and how easy it is to share.”

Without the jargon, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and tap into digital media expertise at this intimate event for 25 people.

Katrina set up A-Star Media with business partner John in 2008, while studying Broadcast Journalism at Nottingham Trent University. After several years of successfully helping people get the most out of film, Katrina and her team of video experts joined us here at Purpose Media. Katrina’s focus is on bringing video to life and creating films that everyone can engage with and enjoy.

Kate is managing director at Shake Social and emphasises the need to think of social media as a person-to-person (P2P) communication. Since establishing the  agency in 2010, she has set out to help businesses get to grips with and demystify social media. The company has a earned a growing reputation as Nottingham’s premier social media agency.
