Team Purpose is buzzing this morning after learning that we will defend our Outstanding Growth Performance title at this year’s East Midlands Chamber business awards.
Having won the title last year, we were last night shortlisted as a finalist in the same category and are up against Fifteen Design, ChargedEV, Chevin Fleet Solutions and DG Light Haulage.
We were also named as a finalist in the Marketing Campaign of the Year category, while our MD, Matt Wheatcroft, secured a nomination for the Entrepreneur of the Year title and our Design Apprentice, Ollie Henderson, is up for an Apprentice of the Year award.
Matt said: “We’re absolutely delighted to once again be up for a number of East Midlands Chamber awards this year. Last year, we represented the East Midlands Region in the British Chambers of Commerce’s national Chamber Business Awards, finishing runner-up in the Growth Performance category. This year, we are hoping to go one step further.
“As a business, we’ve undergone a huge amount of change over the past two years, turning from a web and e-commerce specialist to a full-service agency which combines technology and marketing to help our clients deliver memorable customer experiences.
“I’d like to say a huge thanks to our fantastic team overt the past 12 months, for getting us to where we are today and making these nominations possible. And I’d like to congratulate Ollie on his nomination and wish him the best of luck.”
Purpose Media clients Bowers Electricals and Solutions for Accounting and CRM were also celebrating last night after securing their own nominations. Bowers was shortlisted in the Manufacturer of the Year and Small Business of the Year categories in Derbyshire, while Solutions made the cut in the Business Improvement Through Technology and Apprentice of the Year categories in Nottinghamshire.
Matt added: “It’s fantastic to see our friends at Bowers and Solutions also up for awards. It shows how many great businesses we have in the East Midlands. We should all be very proud of the region and what it has to offer.”
