To meet increasing demand for meaningful social media, Purpose Media have appointed Rebecca Ellis as our Content and Social Media Executive.

Rebecca, is a graduate of The University of Sheffield and holds a BSc. (Hons) Psychology. She previously worked as a brand ambassador for Circle Pay where she used digital marketing techniques to promote the Circle Pay app via social media.

In this new role Rebecca will be supporting Purpose Media’s content team in creating engaging social media content, blogs and web copy.

Commenting on her appointment, Marketing Director, Katrina Starkie said, “Rebecca will be helping the team to deliver high quality, consistent and engaging content social media platforms and websites, and linking these together to support our client’s marketing strategies.”

“We’re seeing more evidence of social media playing a pivotal role in the marketing mix. By expanding the team we’re able to ensure our clients enjoy ongoing marketing success.

Life Experiences

Before joining Purpose Media, Rebecca has spent time travelling and volunteered in Fiji to support school renovations, helping to create a positive learning environment for the children.

Commenting on her new role, Rebecca said, “I was attracted to Purpose Media because of the way they put their customers first, understanding and caring for people is something I’ve learned from my degree and my voluntary work, and I’m am looking forward to combining these skills.”

“I think a lot of brands struggle on social media because they talk about themselves rather than how they help their customers, so I’m looking forward to working on some exciting content that will help clients share their stories.”
