We are proud to announce Purpose Media have been shortlisted for two awards at the East Midlands Chamber Business Awards!

In a celebration of East Midlands based enterprises, the Chamber Business Awards recognise the talent and success of businesses of all sizes and sectors from Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.

During the Chamber President’s Summer Reception, it was announced that Purpose Media are finalists for the Excellence in Customer Service and Community Impact awards in Derbyshire alongside lots of other great local businesses.

Customer Service Excellence

We make sure our customers always come first in everything we do, with dedicated Account Managers who constantly seek client feedback to ensure we are meeting every demand. We work to understand the ins and outs of every client, no matter how specialised their work may be.

On hearing the great news, Account Director, Jamie Bourn, said; ‘It sounds like a cliché but our customers really are at the heart of everything we do – we act as part of their team, so it’s a priority for us to make sure they feel understood and looked after, that way we can do the best for them. To be shortlisted for this award really shows our commitment, and I’m really proud of the team.’

Caring for our Community

Not only do we look after our customers, we spend lots of time working in the community to promote growth and create opportunities for local children. Our staff take part in charity fundraisers all year round to support lots of causes including our annual Play on the Pitch football match to raise money for Sleetmoor United.

On top of raising money, we use our business expertise as a full-service marketing agency to support local community groups like Sleetmoor United, Nottingham Forest Community Trust and Derby County Community Trust

Managing Director and Sleetmoor founder, Matt Wheatcroft said; ‘Lots of businesses see any community work as a box-ticking exercise for CSR, which is fine, but for us, that’s not enough. We want to make a real difference in our community, now and in the future. We could easily throw money at something or do an event once a year, but what we really want is to leave a positive legacy for the future and I feel we’re certainly on the way to doing that.’

Supporting Local Businesses

As a business heavily influenced by digital platforms, technology is a vital part of our work. This is why we are sponsoring the Derbyshire Business Improvement through Technology award.

We love to see businesses thrive on innovation and use technology to improve their processes, and that is exactly what this category and the finalists represent.
