Mouths were watering and tummies were rumbling as Purpose Media celebrated Macmillan Coffee Morning in style!

After an evening slaving over our stoves concocting cakes and bakes, we were all a little worried about potential soggy bottoms as the team gathered around for a blind taste test.

Taking inspiration from The Great British Bake Off, Team Purpose turned Macmillan’s Coffee Morning into our very own challenge, daring each other to a Bake-Off style battle.

And it didn’t disappoint! From old classics like Lemon Drizzle and Victoria Sponge to the more adventurous Spiced Pear Bunt Cake and Malibu Liquor Cupcakes, team members were invited to bring their bakes up to our very own Gingham Alter to be judged and ranked to help raise vital funds.

Just some of the tasty treats Team PM cooked up.

Hayley, PM’s Finance Manager, took the Star Baker award with her devilishly rich and incredibly moreish Chocolate Orange Brownies, which were baked fresh that morning and still oozed with gooey chocolate pieces.

Our efforts helped raise a whopping £75.00 for the cancer care charity which helps support those living with cancer to live their lives as fully as they can.

For information on how your business can help Macmillan, see the website here.

And if you want to try some of our tasty treats for yourself, book in a meeting – we’d love to catch up!

Let's get started.
