In the UK, a person develops dementia every three minutes and there’s currently no cure. It is the UK’s biggest killer.

Alan Chaffe, PM’s Senior Designer, is sticking it to the disease by running in the Royal Parks Half Marathon next month.

Hoping to raise awareness and vital funds, Alan will run with his brother Rob in support of the Alzheimer’s Society – the only UK charity that campaigns for change, funds research to find a cure and supports people living with dementia today.

Alan said: “Rob and I are humbled to raise money and awareness for this fantastic cause. I cannot wait to get stuck into the miles upon miles of training that awaits!

Please dig deep and give all you can – you’re doing something that’ll fund research and change lives. Thanks!”

PM’s Second Fundraiser for Alzheimer’s

The run will take place on the 13th October in some of London’s world-famous landmarks and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’ Park and Kensington Gardens.

This is the second time team PM have dedicated time and effort to raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society, after taking part in Cupcake Day earlier this year.

If you’d like to help support Alan and Alzheimer’s, please donate whatever you can to his Just Giving page, here. For more information about dementia, visit Alzheimer’s UK.

Let's get started.
