Mitch began his career working as a chef, training in various Michelin star restaurants in London and Rutland, before working in a French fine dining restaurant in Mansfield.
Whilst cooking up a storm in the kitchen, Mitch developed a keen interest in the management side of the business; working closely with the numbers and accounts. It was at this point that Mitch decided he wanted to focus his career within another field.
Mitch went on to work for the PPC agency, Finsbury Media. Starting within the sales department, before managing PPC accounts.
Keen to develop further, Mitch joined Purpose as an apprentice in 2014, working with clients on their digital strategies. Striving to increase his clients’ online presence, Mitch began studying for a digital marketing diploma via an online course. Before long, Mitch was highly competent within the world of digital marketing, taking clients from strength to strength. It was only a matter of time before he was promoted to become Head of the digital department.
As Head of Digital, it’s Mitch’s job to create and implement digital strategies for all clients, ensuring that the strategy meets objectives and requirements. This includes search engine optimisation, paid-for advertising, email marketing, and conversion rate optimisation.
Outside of work, Mitch enjoys playing football. He trains and plays for a local team every week. When he’s not letting off steam on the pitch, he’s relaxing with a fruity cocktail – his personal favourites being Tia Maria, Limoncello, and Disaranno.
Mitch is also into jogging and has competed in various local running events, including a Cancer Research Marathon! But when he’s not burning the cals, Mitch enjoys going to watch some of his favourite artists in concert. He has tickets for Elton John’s Farewell Tour lined up in 2019 and recently went to see Phil Collins and The Beach Boys.
