Italian job for Purpose Media video team

Purpose Media’s video team captured all the excitement as one of the agency’s clients made important announcements at a major global hospitality showcase.

True Refrigeration, whose cutting-edge equipment is supplied into commercial kitchens, bars, restaurants, retail outlets and offices in 100 countries across the world, was a key exhibitor at HostMilano.

The event in Milan, Italy, is one of the biggest in the sector’s calendar and, over its five-day run, attracts tens of thousands of visitors keen to see the latest innovation in technology and product development.

True used the gathering to announce the launch of an industry-leading seven-year manufacturer’s warranty on products sold across Europe, the UK and Ireland, to unveil its new Contemporary Visual Merchandiser glass-door retail refrigeration unit and to celebrate the company’s 80th anniversary.

Purpose Media produced videos for each, together with highlights reels, to be broadcast at the end of each day of the exhibition.

The team also gathered footage for further post-event films and captured more than 2,000 still images for future marketing initiatives.

Head of Video Alistair Bullock said the project helped showcase True’s continuous innovation and the passion of those working within the business.

HostMilano is an important part of True’s year, and its vital to capitalise on the opportunities that being in front of so many decision-makers in the sector brings,” he said.

“We worked hard with the client to focus on key messaging and on telling its stories in a way which was visually appealing, and which was in tune with the company’s approach and values.

“We interviewed people at every level of the business, including the owners, staff with decades of service and others who have only recently joined the team.

“The videos give a real sense of the people behind the company and the passion and innovation behind the products. The enthusiasm and commitment of True’s long-serving employees is remarkable. And the excitement newer members of the team have about joining the company and wanting to be part of something which is continuously evolving also really comes across.”

The Purpose team will now supply further videos, including a walkthrough showcasing True’s impressive presence at the exhibition.
