The Company

Purpose Media is a Derbyshire based Full-Service Marketing Agency that supports clients in all aspects of their marketing.

We work with a variety of brands, from service providers to online retailers, and we champion our clients to look through the eyes of their customers and create memorable experiences.

Recent growth has aided our development, allowing us to increase our service offering and expand to new offices. Our space includes meeting and conference rooms, break out areas, collaborative spaces, media studio and secure on-site car parking.

Located 2 minutes from the M1 Junction 28, and 35 minutes from both Derby and Nottingham’s city centres, our location is perfect for your commute. Situated directly opposite East Midlands Designer Outlet and the public transport routes offered by Trent Barton Bus services.

 

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Digital Account Manager to join our full-service marketing agency.

As a Digital Account Manager at Purpose Media, your main duty will be to develop and manage digital marketing strategies with our clients and help them achieve their marketing goals.

Some of their aspirations may include creating a better online presence and increasing impressions, better lead generation or more streamlined marketing and sales processes. Your role will be extremely important for customers success, satisfaction and, ultimately, loyalty.

Digital Account Manager duties and responsibilities:

  • Build long-term relationships with clients
  • Investigate and determine clients wants and needs
  • Plan and implement digital strategies for clients
  • Always work towards those goals
  • Analyse the effectiveness of campaigns and recommend improvements
  • Recommend, design and implement projects to increase their ROI
  • Set up a list of KPIs to track for each client
  • Prepare and present reports on their progress
  • Keep abreast with new trends in digital technology and share these with the wider team

You’ll work as part of our Account Management team, alongside our multi-disciplined staff, to collaborate, help our clients meet their objectives and quickly resolve any issues.

You’ll be given time to develop your knowledge, and you will need to showcase this ongoing development in your work.

Because of the nature of this role we’re looking for someone with hands-on digital marketing experience, however, we don’t need you to do any physical digital marketing in this role, as you’ll be working with our digital marketing team (and other teams) to implement client’s plans. It’s just loads better for us, the client, everyone if you have a good grasp of digital marketing before you start.

As part of a full-service agency you will have access to the following disciplines in-house to support your strategies:

  • Digital marketing (obviously!)

  • Branding and design
  • Blogging and social media
  • Video

Responsibilities

Your work as our Digital Account Manager will involve:

  • reporting to the Account Director
  • supporting clients in day to day communications, by phone and e-mail
  • supporting team members to arrange and deliver digital marketing tasks
  • monitoring tasks and ensuring delivery
  • working independently on specific tasks and projects
  • leading regular client meetings
  • capacity to learn and grow your skills

Working hours

9am until 5pm Monday to Friday with some occasional requirement for out-of-hours work. Any out-of-hours work will be notified in advance – and you will be given time off in lieu in return.

Skills

You’ll need to be outgoing as you will be working directly with clients. Strong communication skills will also help with internal communications.
