Junior Designer

We’re on the lookout for a talented junior designer. Do you thrive creating memorable designs that engage audiences, inspire customers, and deliver results?

Our successful candidate will shape brand and visual communications for our wide range of clients – ranging across sport, education, consumer brands, tech, engineering, property, charity, and more…

Working as part of our friendly and collaborative studio team, your work will cover a variety of graphic design disciplines; branding design, web design, print design, asset creation for video & animation, email design and social media design.

Role & Responsibilities

Specifically, the role will involve:

  • Creating design outcomes of a high standard
  • Working across multiple projects to meet tight deadlines
  • Collaborating with our team to understand and challenge a client brief
  • Communicating to update our account managers on your work in progress
  • Actively take part in design critiques in the Studio
  • Develop your designs; from initial concept ideas through to a finalised outcome
  • Pitch your design ideas to our close-knit internal team, explaining your thought process
  • Show interest in researching design styles and trends
  • Develop and challenge your skillset and knowledge

Qualifications & Requirements

What you’ll need:

  • A minimum of two-year’s of experience within an agency environment
  • Skill in using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop & XD or Sketch)
  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant subject
  • A stand-out portfolio showcasing your best work
  • Your up-to-date CV that stories experience and qualifications
  • Demonstrate passion to deliver design outcomes that work in the real-world
  • Ability to take projects from initial brief, onto concepts, and then completion
  • Aptitude to collaborate with creatives, developers, writers and account managers
  • Be self-motivated and effectively manage your time
  • Confidence in expressing your ideas and articulating design rationale
  • Be driven to develop your skills within the creative industry

Due to recent growth, we have expanded our offering and upgraded our South Normanton headquarters – which includes meeting rooms, break-out areas, collaborative work spaces, a media studio and on-site parking.
