Business masters awards sponsorship and judging

Helping clients write compelling copy to enter and win local and trade business awards often forms part of the marketing strategy we help clients to implement as part of building their brand credibility and trust.

We also find it incredibly useful to enter and sponsor awards ourselves as this helps to raise our profile, and being an awards judge can be incredibly insightful both in terms of learning how other businesses operate as well as highlighting improvements that we can bring to our own business.

This year we are sponsoring the East Midlands Chamber Derby awards and also the Business Masters Awards arranged by The Business Desk.

Last week, our business development manager, Grace Golden was invited to be on the judging panel of the Business Masters awards alongside Chris Hobson, Eileen Perry, and Natalie Gasson-McKinley.

The shortlist has just been announced and we are pleased to say that there were a couple of Purpose Media clients on the shortlist – but don’t worry – to keep everything fair, wherever there were conflicts of interest, the judges were asked to cast their vote for alternative entrants.

If you’d like to learn who else in in the running for an award, here is a link to the full article announcing the full shortlist.

The other advantage of a business awards ceremony is the networking opportunities at the event which enable you to meet other like-minded business owners. As part of her BD role, Grace will be attending the awards ceremony on 13 October at The Crown Plaza Hotel in Nottingham to announce and present the award on behalf of Purpose Media to the winner of the category we are presenting.

If you’d like to attend, single tickets start at £130 each using this link.

Meanwhile, if you’re considering entering an award and would welcome the insight we have gained from being on both sides of the fence which enables us to write winning submissions please get in touch.
