Our Return to the Office

As lockdown rules are gradually relaxed, we’re back in the office with a plan to ensure staff have full access to our space.

The plan involves the installation of hygiene stations and strict social distancing rules, including a one-way system around the office and specially designed safety awareness signage from graphics specialists, MX Display.

The new additions give staff the peace of mind that they can come into the office without an increased risk of infection.

We have also enlisted the help of other local businesses to ensure the office is fit for use once again.

Security and safety experts, Total Integrated Solutions (TIS) have helped to reduce the potential spread of Coronavirus by replacing keypad-controlled entry points with contactless entry systems for staff and visitors.

We also teamed up with client, DPI UK, who make bespoke partitioning using aluminium frames and flexible push-fit fabrics. The partnership will see DPI install 16 freestanding partitions in the office, helping segregate working areas so staff can adhere to social distancing rules.

Achieving social distancing with clear partitioning from DPI

The partitions are wipe clean and clear, allowing staff to make the most of their usual office space, opening areas that would otherwise be off-limits due to social distancing. And once the risk of Coronavirus subsides, the clear material will be swapped out for branded imagery to display around the office and at events.

Managing Director, Matt Wheatcroft said: “As a client, we’ve been helping DPI to promote their bespoke partitioning through various campaigns.

As we learnt more about the partitions and their benefits, it was a no brainer to make them one of the latest additions to our office.

Without the partitioning, some of the desks would be unusable due to the 1m social distancing rule. Now, thanks to DPI and their ingenuity, we can make better use of our space upon our return.”

On the return to work, Matt said, “The lockdown has highlighted just how productive our staff can be from home and while we’ve always strived to give our staff a positive working environment, we can now give them extra flexibility so that work can work around their lifestyle.

Should they choose to, staff now have a space to get out of the house and focus on work in a different environment or continue to work from home as and when it suits them – helping them to achieve a better work-life balance.”
