As an end to the pandemic and restrictions begins to feel tangible our full-service marketing team have changed to reflect the needs of clients in a quickly changing landscape, and two key members of the team have been promoted to reflect their commitment over the past months and the value they add as projects adapt to become more digitally focussed.
Liam Brown is now the Head of Business development and Rachel Gascoigne has become our Head of Copy.
Liam joined the team from consumer credit giant Experian in 2018 and works with clients to understand their needs and create an approach, across multiple disciplines, to serve their short term objectives and long term goals.
On his promotion, he said; ‘When I started working at PM it was clear to me that this is a company that rewards hard work, encourages people to try new ideas and celebrates their successes. I started as a junior and learned from the team, I’m glad I can help clients and this new role gives me the confidence to keep pushing forward for our customers and the whole team.’
Starting as a Creative Copywriter in 2017 Rachel joined Purpose Media from marketing agency StrawberryToo, with previous experience from Lad Bible owned Pretty52. Rachel’s role focusses on creating user-focused copy for clients, with an approach that encompasses user behaviour and customer psychology.
On becoming the Head of Copy, Rachel said; ‘I’ve learned so much since I joined the team at Purpose Media, and it’s been my goal to keep improving and grow. This role will help us to keep improving the content we create for our clients and streamline our approach so we can support wider content strategies, like PR.’
Managing Director, Matt Wheatcroft, said; ‘Liam and Rachel have done brilliant work this year, they’ve adapted to quick changes and also taken time to shape new ideas and processes to help our customers get more and make our projects better and better.’
‘The pair of them are dedicated and I look forward to seeing how they tackle these new roles and take Purpose Media forward.’
