A film built to move people. Not just look good.
Production value gets a video watched to the end – but it doesn't get anyone to act. We plan every film against what it needs to change, then make sure it looks good doing it.
The brief starts with belief, not a list.
Most video briefs start with the shot list: the length, the platform, the style everyone’s seen and liked. All very logical but none of it is useful until someone’s said what the film actually needs to do.
So we settle that first – what has to be captured, what story the video will tell once it’s live and who has to understand it. The format soon follows, whether it’s a 90-second brand film or six 15-second cutdowns.
Then we report against the numbers that count. Watch time and completion rate tell you the video played – but they don’t tell you it was worth making.
How we work.
-
Concept.
Strategy, storyboarding and scripting, so every shoot day has a clear job to do.
-
Shoot.
Filming and direction, on set or on location, built around what the edit needs.
-
Edit.
Cut, graded and sound-designed until it earns every second of attention.
-
Deliver.
Versioned for every platform it needs to run on, so it reaches the people who matter most.
One cut does not fit every screen.
Most video plans treat delivery as an afterthought – one film, exported once, dropped everywhere it’s supposed to run. But what holds attention on a paid pre-roll isn’t what holds it in a feed and what plays in a feed isn’t what plays on a screen at a trade stand.
So we cut for where a film is going before we cut at all: length, pacing, captions, the opening three seconds. A version nobody watches past that didn’t do its job, however good the original edit was.
Purpose Media invested time to properly understand what makes the businesses within the United Rental System network unique and then devised a powerful and compelling video solution which will enable us to share that story with key audiences. They got us. And they really delivered.
