Despite having a successful physical store, Edgemere were looking for an increased online presence, keen to drive sales through their website.

On completing research, team Purpose assessed Edgemere’s website, product range and key audiences, and looked at where we could improve the organic rankings with additional content, as well as Google Shopping and Search campaigns.
With a focus on organic search, SEO, and technical site health work, we worked to improve existing search performance.
Purpose Media now support Edgemere by offering the skills of a multi-disciplined marketing team able to respond quickly to the demands of an established business.
With the website acting as a hub, the digital marketing team identified key terms for SEO and ensured pages were optimised for search.
The digital marketing team also took responsibility for creating and delivering paid campaigns for Google and Facebook, building end to end journeys for end users. This approach also used e-mail marketing campaigns, built around the user experience, and directing to specially developed pages to allow us to map behaviour and report success.
To further drive sales, Edgemere needed to leverage social media channels to drive brand awareness and better connect with their customers especially at certain times of the year.
Purpose Media supported Edgemere with a paid social campaign during the Black Friday sale period. We worked with them to develop a social strategy that assisted in promoting their offer and products with an emphasis on the limited time available to purchase.
We also used social media to help increase Edgemere’s brand perception in target areas.
To support Edgemere’s digital strategy, we also worked with them to develop a content strategy to assist in increasing their brand awareness, especially through search. This includes the creation of regular content plans filled with keyword research and blog ideas/structures to help Edgemere’s internal teams write the pieces of content.
These keyword-driven blogs help boost Edgemere in Google search, working towards an awareness, conversion, engagement model.
Implementation of the multi-channel strategy has helped Edgemere win masses of new business and drastically improve brand awareness.
Edgemere’s sales are up by 163% compared to the year before. Website traffic has increased by 151% too.
Data from current marketing activities is constantly being captured and analysed to identify success and build effective practices into upcoming plans.
