Engineering a brand overhaul to ready Matrix Tooling for their next chapter.

OBJECTIVES

Matrix Tooling are respected in their field, but their brand no longer reflected their ambition and innovation. They needed a partner to help them be seen as a pioneering force in tooling solutions across diverse industries.

Purpose Media was commissioned to work with Matrix Tooling, helping to define what makes their proposition unique, and create a design look and feel that communicates their ethos. This included a full rebrand, covering the development of a new and specific tone of voice, as well as a visual identity that would resonate with their target personas.

 

STRATEGY

We identified Matrix Tooling’s position within the tooling market, and their target audience. Using these, we actioned:

  • A rebrand to promote the brand as forward-thinking and ambitious
  • The creation of a new, bold logomark and an extensive set of brand guidelines
  • Developed a tone of voice and messaging that clearly communicates to their intended audience
  • Rolled out the brand across all marketing collateral and touchpoints

 

RESULTS

Our work with Matrix has laid the foundation for their long-term growth, and increased the recognition of the brand.

We supported Matrix in rolling out their new brand across signage, internal branding, brochures, and their new website, ensuring consistency and impact at every touchpoint.
